Firmware upgrade files can be obtained in the ReadyView Firmware Page or your ReadyLinks support rep. Firmware upgrades may be required for varies reasons including security updates, bug fixes, new features etc.
Preform firmware upgrades:
1. Navigate to the web UI of the switch (http://<IP of Switch>)
2. Navigate to Administration -> Firmware Upgrade -> Switch Firmware -> HTTP Upgrade
3. Upload the new firmware
4. Press the update button
5. When the upgrade is complete a screen like below will appear:
6. Next you will need to reboot the switch to apply the new firmware to do so, navigate to Administration -> Reset&Reboot -> Switch Reboot. And either select to Save and Reboot or Reboot without Saving
- We recommend Save and Reboot to prevent loss of configuration changes
7. Once the switch is back online you can verify the firmware applied on the startup page on the web UI:
